 History is not the past but a map of the past, drawn from a particular point of view, to be useful to the modern traveler.

 In history class I learned about Jigme Namgyal.








Jigme Namgyal

 

Jigme Namgyal the man of destiny was born in the year 1825 at Pila Nagsthang of Lhuentse dzongkhag of Bhutan. 

His father was Dasho Pila Gonpo Wangyal and his mother was Azhi Sonam Pelzom.

He became the 51st druk desi of Bhutan in 1870 to 1873.

He is very important to bhutanese people since he planted the root of wangchuck dynasty

Shake off Your Problem s A man’s favorite donkey falls into a deep precipice. He can’t pull it out no matter how hard he tries. He therefore decides to bury it alive. Soil is poured onto the donkey from above. The donkey feels the load, shakes it off, and steps on it. More soil is poured. It shakes it off and steps up. The more the load was poured, the higher it rose. By noon, the donkey was grazing in green pastures. After much shaking off (of problems) And stepping up (learning from them), One will graze in GREEN PASTURES.
